About IFA - Our Car Finance Application Process
IFA Car Finance operate as a whole of market finance brokerage and our Independent Finance Advisors are specialists in arranging car finance, Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Finance, Motor home finance, motor bike finance as well as caravan finance.
In order to make a finance application we need the information required as per the application form. Once our underwriters have made their decision we will discuss in full with you with you the next steps required in order to collect your chosen vehicle.
Our application process is very simple and does not require intrusive or excessive amounts of information from you – just basic application information. We do not need to ask for income and expenditure reports, salary details or other loan commitments.
A credit check is carried out which will show on your credit history report. We understand fully the significance of applying for credit and will guarantee that unlike many finance brokers who will propose your information to several lenders at once thus registering multiple searches against your name, that we only register one search at a time. If we have to register more than 2 searches in order to make a finance offer to you we will contact you to discuss your application.
On your application being successfully approved and you agreeing to the financial structure of the deal we will ask you to sign finance documents and provide proof of identity and proof of your current address. We will then speak to the supplier of the vehicle to arrange an invoice and payment will be made on your behalf in order that you may collect your vehicle as arranged with the supplier. If there is a deposit or part exchange involved then you arrange this with the supplier.
